CPR/AED & First Aid - Adult

Basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective basic life support for an adult in an emergency.  Learn about Good Samaritan laws, heart disease and stroke, rescue breathing, one rescuer CPR and choking and automated external defibrillator (AED) operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.  Prepares students to help care for common adult injuries and illnesses.  Learn about emergency response, head-to-toe exam, bleeding, shock, burns, splinting, sudden illnesses, heat and cold emergencies.  Excellent for businesses, industry, and medical institutions that care for adults.

CPR & First Aid - Daycare Provider

Basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective basic life support for an adult, child or infant in an emergency with an emphasis on the daycare setting.  Learn about Good Samaritan laws, heart disease and stroke, rescue breathing, one rescuer CPR and choking.  Prepares students to help care for common pediatric injuries and illnesses with emphasis on injury prevention.  Learn about emergency response, head-to-toe exam, bleeding, shock, burns, splinting, sudden illnesses, respiratory emergencies, heat and cold emergencies.  Excellent for Day Care Staff, Schools, Coaches, Parents, Grandparents and Babysitters.

bulletCertification Card valid for two years.  This course meets California Licensing requirements for daycare providers. (EMSA stickers available with this course)

CPR & First Aid - Essentials

Basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency medical care for the ill or injured until the arrival of the emergency medical services (EMS) Learn how to assess the scene and victims of an emergency, provide basic life support (airway management, CPR, AED and emergency oxygen skills), bloodborne pathogens and basic first aid care of the ill or injured. Only "essential" information is covered in this program. This approach allows students to quickly integrate the skills from each module into the next.

CPR & First Aid - Pet First Aid

Basic information on caring for dogs and cats including approaching an ill or injured animal, rescue breathing, CPR, choking, control of bleeding, care of injuries to muscles and bones, heat and cold related emergencies, guidance about when to seek professional veterinary care for pets and more. Not intended to replace veterinary care - focuses on how to save a pet's life in an emergency situation or to minimize a pet's trauma after an injury.  Always  have your pet checked out by your local vet after an emergency.  This program received the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA®) Seal of Approval.
